The distinctive accomplishments of the Units above has reflected positively upon the vUSAF, its members, and its founders, and because of these actions it is hereby recommended they be awarded the Unit Citation

I hereby recommend that all VUSAF assets that participated be presented the VUSAF Achievement Medal.

7 Feb 2008: On this date, the governing council of the VUSAF hereby cites vLGen John Britt for the following accomplishments. Count one; dedicated and selfless service to the VUSAF since April 2005. Since joining the VUSAF vLGen Britt has served in leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including roles as a MAJCOM Commander and the Director of Air Operations since October 2006. In his role as AF/A3, vLGen Britt has provided consistent and inspired leadership of all VUSAF air operations. Count two; as a Master Instructor Pilot, vLGen Britt has played a major role in insuring that VUSAF pilots are properly trained before being allowed to participate in VUSAF events and operations. He has personally logged hundreds of hours as an Instructor Pilot, investing his time, knowledge, skill, and enthusiasm to enrich the experience of pilots joining the VUSAF. Count three; creation of various online events, operations, and exercises. As a MAJCOM and Air Staff leader, vLGen Britt has been directly responsible for the planning, implementation, administration, and success of a number of events, exercises, and operations that enhance the membership experience of VUSAF pilots under his command. By virtue of these accomplishments, vLGen Britt reflects great credit upon himself and the VUSAF. For the above reasons, we, the governing council of the VUSAF, find vLGen John Britt qualified and deserving of the highest recognition and honor within the Organization and hereby present him the VUSAF FOUNDERSHIP award.
