Capt Stillwell flew a total of 19 sorties, evacuating over 1,000 people from the Houston area and delivering over 230,000 pounds of supplies from across the United States and Alaska. Capt Stillwell accumulated over 40 hours of flight time during this two week operation and his dedication is a credit upon himself, his unit and the vusaf as a whole. For his actions,. Capt Stillwell is awarded the aerial achievement Medal.
