Hajo Lippke, A6022 assigned pilot of the 37th AS, vUSAFE, is hereby submitted for the Virtual United States Air Force Achievement Medal on the 10th day of February, 2007, for aerial excellence during Operation Deep Freeze 06/07’. vCapt Lippke performed above and beyond the call of duty to vUSAFE by his timely completion of fourteen Antarctic airland sorties in direct support of Deep Freeze Mainbody requirements. His request of additional missions displayed a great resolve to support vUSAF initiatives, and stood apart from his peers. Because of these actions, vCapt. Hajo Lippke has distinguished himself, vUSAFE, the 86th Airlift Wing, and the 37th Airlift Squadron and has earned this recognition.

28 Jun 2008: vCol. Hajo Lippke has distinguished himself by outstanding achievement while deployed to South East Asia as Director of Operations from May 17th 2008 to Jun 2nd 2008, while participating in sustained aerial flight by successfully completing six sorties providing humanitarian aid and airlift support to the local Myanmar area during OPERATION NARGIS. Additionally during this period, the leadership, airmanship, dedication and devotion to duty exhibited by vCol Lippke were critical for the overall success of the operation while directly supervising 20 aircrew members from three different Major Commands. vCol Lippke’s leadership was displayed by creating and organizing daily Air Tasking Orders which resulted in a total of 113 airlift support, search and rescue, and airdrop of humanitarian aid missions vCol Lippke actions directly impacted the operation by updating and maintaining sortie progress achieving a total of 103 completed sorties for 291.93 total flight hours, resulting in a 91%success rate. Additionally vCol Lippke procured and customized mission scenery to enhance flight operations during this contingency. The professional ability and outstanding aerial accomplishments of vCol Lippke reflect great credit upon himself, and the vUnited States Air Force and is hereby awarded the vUSAF Distinguished Service Medal.

During this time Colonel Lippke supervised and trained all members of the 102nd Rescue Squadron with the up most professionalism and undivided devotion. Major Lippke also planned and executed a major event within the Virtual US Air Force, which was a huge success. Major Lippke's Professionalism and Devotion to Duty, reflected greatly upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the Virtual US Air Force.
